ROY ANDRES HOFER (CH/JP) | artist / curator / gallerist
Roy Andres Hofer (*1976 in Basel, CH) is a Swiss artist, curator and designer based in Japan since 2019. He studied the arts of Lithography (1993-1997), Schule für Gestaltung Basel (1993-1995), HGKZ (2002). Roy is the organizer of the CAMPBASEL art festival, the "miniature of nature"- series in Japan, the ONEsize show and the „into the deep woods“ pop up shows during the Art Basel week. He is the founder of artspace-switzerland, a-space gallery, ASF_a leap forward and the circle for artists. With a-space, he takes part in various international art fairs such as; Art Copenhagen, CUT LOG NYC, SLICK Paris, SetUp Bologna, Art Market Budapest, SWAB Barcelona, Room Art Fair Madrid, Art Edition Seoul among others.

NENA NASTASIYA (IN) | nomad traveling artist
Nastasiya Nena (*1994, Surabaya, Indonesia) currently lives and works nomad as an independent visual artist with her series project, Space Robot. She brings her childhood creation Space Robot as an ongoing long term project that developed through exploration in new places by its environment, local things, and social research. This project is creating a narrative works that have a unique view in the human world that represent by robots. She works mostly with watercolour as the medium and took material from nature for the installation. In her focus of the works itself, she has a soft touch colour and feeling that creating its world of hopes and gratefulness towards little things in the daily expression of the modern world. Nastasiya is currently staying in Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

HANGA SERA (CH) | artist / curator / architect
Hanga Séra (1972, Miskolc / Hungary) lives in Zurich, works as an artist, curator & architect. She studied architecture and photography at the TU Vienna / AT & the University of Portsmouth / UK. She is working in the fields of photography, installation and performance.

JAKUB SLOMKOWSKI (PL) | artist / performer / musician
Jakub Słomkowski (1982 in Warsaw, Poland) visual and performative artist, musician – combines these three disciplines in his artistic practice and experiments with them perpetually. He studied History of Art at Warsaw University and Painting at Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and Complutense University in Madrid.

TJEFA WEGENER (CH) | photographer / nude / portrait
Tjefa Wegener (*1986, Basel, CH) lives and works as a freelance photographer in Basel and in the Alps (CH). She studied photography at Ostkreuzschule in Berlin (2008–2011) and did two documentary journeys to Mexico (2010 and 2012). She is specialized in nude and long term documentary photography.

Jasmin Glaab | Concept and Moderation
Jasmin Glaab (*1988) is an artist, curator and educator. She is the founding curator of kunsthallekleinbasel (independent artist run initiative since 2014) and has regularly taken part in panels, meetings and discussions on artist run topics throughout Europe. In 2020 she launched the project ARTIST RUN PANELS which is a nomadic discussion forum in cooperation with independent artist run initiatives worldwide.
Melanie Kuratli | Q&A Sessions
Melanie Kuratli (*1994) lives and works as a freelance artist, graphic designer and gallery assistant in Basel (CH). She earned her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the University of Arts Northwestern Switzerland (2017). She worked in the fields of graphics, web design and as assistant for various exhibitions in the field of fine art and culture in Switzerland. Currently she is studying Art History and Classical Archaeology at the University of Basel. Since 2020 she has been doing an internship as a curatorial assistant at the independent artist run initiative kunsthallekleinbasel in Basel.

Ongoing Project in cooperation with artist-run initiatives
The aim of the ARTIST RUN PANELS project is to create a nomadic discussion forum based on partnerships between independent artist run initiatives around the world. The panels take place in different countries, are published live and address an international audience. Experts from all over the world are invited to listen to the participants and ask questions to the panelists. The project was launched 2020 by Jasmin Glaab, the first panel with speakers from all over Switzerland took place at Espace Libre Visarte Biel/Bienne and can be found on the platform lumpenstation.art
